About Optimal Health Exercise Physiology
Optimal Health Exercise Physiology (OHEP) practices out of The Beaurepaire Centre within The University of Melbourne. Clients have access to a private training studio, as well as a comprehensively equipped two-storey strength and conditioning complex.
Director of OHEP Yujin Lim [MAppSc (Clinical Exercise Practice), GradDipExSc, BSc (Physiology)], is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and a professional member of Exercise & Sports Science Australia. He is a registered provider for Medicare, Workcover, TAC and numerous Private Health Funds. He is also accredited by the Australian Diabetes Council ("Beat It Program").
OHEP has experience working with a wide range of clientele having worked at various private practices, gyms, rehabilitation clinics and hospitals. Yujin himself has also administered exercise tutorials at University level. All of this allows OHEP to take a holistic view of exercise prescription and delivery, rather than focusing only on one style or variable and being blinded by the others. This philosophy facilitates long-term success through the implementation of evidence-based programs designed to maximise training efficiency and benefits. OHEP understands that not every person has the same needs, and being able to view training through multiple lenses makes it easier to appreciate what is needed for each individual. Yujin prides himself on offering the highest quality Exercise Physiology services to clients.
Exercise Physiology services are eligible for various rebates including those from Private Health Funds, Medicare, Workcover and TAC. Private Health Fund rebates vary according to your health fund and level of cover.
